Had the buggy moving under its own power, just backwards and forwards on the drive but it does move!
Steering not connected, brakes decidedly sketchy, but it did drive.
Will have to add the video evidence to the Facebook page as forum doesn't like it

The beach buggy project is progressing. Ignition timing sorted. Spent time having fun with fibreglass, patching the holes and splits in the body, have about half of them covered now, just the rest to seal then I can build them up to restore strength to the structure

Project now home, came with lots of powdercoated bits, including the pedal assembly, so had to sand a lot of it off to allow the parts to fit together, will grease and assemble it soon.
Will get some pictures up soon, but night shift and rain don't leave much chance for photography

What to do when you have a surplus of unfinished projects? 1 finish something 2 sell something 3 but another project And the winner is no3 Another unfinished project joins the collection :P :P Will add pictures once it's collected, so am going to need the services of a transporter son time next week

Just to keep you up to speed with my "progress"
Have sized up the a bar on fungus, looks good, just need to make the brackets now.
And been to look at another project to add to my collectionπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜±
