Little bit of spending today, have ordeted some paint, hardner, and thinners, also some brake parts for the sandrail. progress will still be slow as helping Stuart with his new bike project

October club night cancelled

due to the ongoing covid situation, the October club night has had to be cancelled.
Hopefully things will improve and normal service can be resumed on the first Wednesday in November, when we can meet and freeze in the braehead McDonald's carpark

Had the buggy moving under its own power, just backwards and forwards on the drive but it does move!
Steering not connected, brakes decidedly sketchy, but it did drive.
Will have to add the video evidence to the Facebook page as forum doesn't like it

Spent time having fun with fibreglass, patching the holes and splits in the body, have about half of them covered now, just the rest to seal then I can build them up to restore strength to the structure

Project now home, came with lots of powdercoated bits, including the pedal assembly, so had to sand a lot of it off to allow the parts to fit together, will grease and assemble it soon.
Will get some pictures up soon, but night shift and rain don't leave much chance for photography
